Welcome to My Place (Just For Kids)

A special social club designed for children 2 months to 12 years. We want to be your babysitter, plus a whole lot more.
We are a secondary childcare center that is "play based". We encourage children to learn and play through discovery. This allows all children to express themselves, discover and learn when and where they want to. The children play, make friends, interact, just like the real people they are. We don't always tell them how to play, but to be themselves and enjoy. We maintain a one to four teacher/child ratio for children under thirty months and a one to ten ratio for children over thirty months of age. Our guests can chill in front of the big screen TV in the GOOD TIME THEATER or show their skills in front of the electronic games. Their creative talents can be expressed in our arts and crafts area or they can explore and play make believe in our gigantic playscape. We have lots of great stuff for our new friends to play with.

A Beeper can be provided...so we can always be in touch.
Beepers can be provided when it may be difficult to reach you. Perhaps just to ask a question like, "did you forget lunch or are you running late?" MY PLACE (just for kids) is like your MOM, we worry and want to be able to reach you when you are needed.

Safety and security is important to keep your family happy and safe.
At time of check in, we ask who is dropping off and who will pick up. We listen to your wishes. The drop-off person can pick-up or designate another pickup person. You must show photo ID, if the staff does not recognize you. If a MOM drops off and informs us that DAD will pickup, we will release to either one. If Grandma comes in and asks for the kids, we will not release to her even if we know her because the drop off person did not clear it first. This is for the safety of the kids and will not be compromised. We do what we are told by the original guardian who entrusts us with the children to be sure they are safe.

We have designed MY PLACE (just for kids) in three ways.
The first is from a "parents" point of view. The highest level of safety, security and staffing are what they want for their kids.
The second, is from a "practical" point of view. You want us to be flexible and frugal. You only pay for the time you use, to the minute. "Drop-in" means a quick and efficient check in.
The third, is just for the children. MY PLACE (just for kids) inc. is designed for them to have fun, excitement and the opportunity to relax and be with their new friends. They will want to come back again and again. We have been a social club, just for kids, since 1984.

Feel free to bring the kids to look us over, and try out the slides. But we must warn you in advance, you shouldn't be surprised if... THEY DON'T WANT TO LEAVE!

MY PLACE (just for kids) inc. is an indoor playground and gathering place for today's kids ages from 2 months to 12 years. Fully licensed by the state of Michigan as full day care, we specialize in just-in-time drop-in childcare. With the right combination of toys, games and supervision to stimulate and entertain active minds and bodies. No enrollment fees or minimum stays are required. Simply fill in an information card and answer a few question. Reservations for children 2 months to 2 1/2 years are required. There is no reason to rush out of that emergency meeting or miss an outing with a friend. MY PLACE (just for kids) inc. is there when you need us.
